AK-47 rifle seized from doctor's locker in Anantnag

Srinagar, Nov 8 (UNI) J&K police have recovered an AK-47 rifle from a medical facility in south Kashmir's Anantnag district after the arrest of two doctors from outside union territory, top officials said.
They said a hunt is on to trace another member of the module.
The officials said one of the doctors, identified as Adeel Ahmad, a resident of south Kashmir, who was working at a private hospital, was arrested in UP's Saharanpur two days ago. Another doctor, they said, was also arrested from outside J&K in a coordinated operation. Adeel worked as a senior resident at GMC Anantnag till October, 2024.
