Amara Raja Group announces third edition of ‘Better Way Awards’ for rural entrepreneurs

Hyderabad, Oct 16 (UNI) The Amara Raja Group, a $2 billion global conglomerate, on Thursday announced the unveiling of the third edition of 'The Amara Raja Better Way Awards' for rural entrepreneurs across the country.
These honours are designed to acknowledge and nurture exceptional individuals and entities who have made a remarkable difference to rural communities with innovative entrepreneurship, the company said in a release.
Crafted to specifically support individuals and entities from rural areas across the nation, the Awards' resonate with the Group's enduring purpose of ‘providing better access to better opportunities to more and more people’.
The three categories with Rs 3 lakh each prize money are Amara Raja Better Way Award for Women Employment, Amara Raja Better Way Award for Rural Income Generation and Amara Raja Better Way Award for Best Agri-Based Business.
Application form is available on the group’s website https://www.amararaja.com/better-way-awards/ and the deadline for submissions is set for November 20.
A panel of experts will assess the entities based on their social and community impact, as well as their contribution to local employment opportunities.
The previous winners have been: Thanima Products and Marketing from Kerala, Siyanjali Retails from Himachal Pradesh, Farm2Fam from Maharashtra, Resham Sutra from Ranchi, Bhaumya Innovations from Telangana and Shreeja Mahila Milk Producer Company from Tirupati.

Adani Kutch Copper inks deal with caravel for Australian project

Mumbai, Nov 7 (UNI) Adani Group's Kutch Copper Ltd has officially announced that it has signed a non-binding memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Australia's Caravel Minerals Ltd to collaborate on the latter's copper project in Western Australia. According to the deal, Adani-owned Kutch Copper will have the first rights to participate at the project-level or as direct equity investments during the MoU term.
