Amidst high security, Odisha goes to polls in 5 Lok Sabha,35 Assembly seats

Bhubaneswar, May 19 (UNI) Under the cover of high security and deployment of 102 Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF), Odisha will go to polls on Monday in five Lok Sabha and 35 Assembly seats to decide the fate of 305 candidates.
The state witnessed pre-poll violence at Khallikote on May 15 in which one BJP worker was killed and three others seriously injured. The state government had already ordered a SIT probe into the poll violence.
Besides, the murder of a BJP-supported youth, Berhampur BJP Lok Sabha candidate Dr.Pradeep Panigrahi was also assaulted seriously. He has since been admitted to the AIIMS, Bhubaneswar and has undergone surgery.

Aizawl, Apr 18(UNI) The Chakma Autonomous District Council (CADC) in Mizoram kicked off its budget session on Thursday with Chief Executive Member (CEM) Molin Kumar Chakma tabling the budget estimates for the financial year 2025–2026.
