Amit Shah to inaugurate Rs 825 crore projects in Haryana, addresses Kurukshetra rally

Chandigarh, Oct 3 (UNI) union Home Minister Amit Shah is set to visit Haryana today, for a packed schedule that includes inaugurating and laying foundation stones for 19 projects worth Rs 825 crore across 12 districts.
His itinerary begins in Rohtak, where he will arrive shortly, followed by a rally and exhibition in Kurukshetra.
In Rohtak, Shah will inaugurate a new Sabar Dairy plant at the Amul Milk facility in the Industrial Model Township (IMT) at 11 am.

Legislatures are Schools of Democracy; Rajasthan Assembly is my first & primary one, says Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla

Jaipur, Jul 15 (UNI) Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla said today that the Rajasthan Assembly has strengthened the democratic traditions of India for the past 75 years, upholding time-old legacy and conventions.
Addressing the inaugural session in the state assembly's "Vidhayi Gaurav Yatra" under the Amrit Mahotsav here on Wednesday, Birla defined legislatures as "Schools of Democracy" and the Rajasthan state legislature as his first and primary institute for teaching and inculcating in him tenets and values of the democratic system.
