Amitabh recalls Nainital boarding days on KBC

Mumbai, Nov 6 (UNI) Bollywood legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan has reminisced about his Nainital boarding days on Sony Entertainment Television's Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC) on Wednesday.

On Sony Entertainment Television, Kaun Banega Crorepati Season 16 of the popular Quiz game show, KBC Juniors, will feature talented little wonders aged between 8 to 15 years. Among the contestants is Bhavik Garg from Delhi, who may be a Class 5 student but has a mature outlook and a keen interest in knowing India's history.

Amitabh Bachchan said little Bhavik, "My computer is very smart; It told me that you have written a book." Bhavik replied that he is indeed working on it, and it is titled History of India. 86 pages of the book was complete, and when it is done, he plans to publish it and gift a copy to AB.

Amitabh also reminisced his school days in Nainital while discussion with Bhavik. He recalled the thrill of boarding school, where an unexpected thrill came in the form of the possibility of a leopard hiding in the bushes.

He recalled, One day, a man came running and shouted that a leopard has been seen. Panic spread in the crowd; some were not able to move due to fear, while others were excited to see this wild animal, holding hockey sticks and tennis rackets.

'When they looked behind the bushes and saw the tail of the leopard, they all got scared, and everyone was stunned. They ran in different directions and went back to school. One of them was a boy who, because of his health issues, usually sat on the sidelines and rarely played, and was advised not to do so. But even he could not resist his desire to see the leopard. My younger brother went to the same school, and he was surprised to see that boy, because that boy was usually very quiet, but then he was running much faster than anyone else.

My brother said that he heard the sound of something behind him and thought the leopard was coming, but it was the sound of that boy running fast, driven by the instinct to survive, who surprised everyone with his speed despite his medical condition. This used to happen in our school' the legendary actor added.
