Amritsar doctor enters Mrs India top 10, eyes national crown

Chandigarh, June 11 (UNI) An Amritsar-based government doctor has secured a place among the top 10 finalists of the Mrs India competition, balancing the demands of a medical career with her passion for personal achievement and women’s empowerment.
Dr Shivanshi, a Senior Resident in the Department of General Surgery at Guru Nanak Dev Hospital in Amritsar, has emerged as a source of inspiration for women by earning a spot in the prestigious beauty and personality competition while continuing to serve patients and handle critical medical responsibilities.
Known for her work in patient care, emergency services and surgical duties, Dr Shivanshi said reaching the top 10 of Mrs India was a proud and memorable achievement. She noted that the journey was challenging due to the demanding nature of the medical profession, which often involves long working hours and intense pressure.
