Andhra dissolves Wakf board set up by previous YSRCP regime

Vijayawada. Dec 1 (UNI) The Andhra Pradesh Government has dissolved the State Wakf Board that was constituted by the erstwhile Jagan Mohan Reddy Government.
Minority Welfare Minister NMD Farook in a statement here on Sunday said that the Chandrababu Naidu Government has decided to withdraw the Wakf GO 47 which was brought by the Jagan Reddy headed erstwhile government.
The Naidu Government had passed Government Order 75 to revoke the GO 47 of Wakf of the previous Government. The YSRCP passed the GO 47 of Walf on October 21, 2023. “The Naidu-headed Government is committed to protect the property of Wakf. The Government has taken steps in this direction,” Minister Farook said. UNI DP SSP
