Anvay Dravid leads Karnataka to victory in Vinoo Mankad Trophy

Bengaluru, Oct 15 (UNI) Carrying forward the legacy of one of India's most respected cricketers, Anvay Dravid, son of former India captain and cricketing icon Rahul Dravid, played a captain's knock to lead Karnataka Under-19 to a commanding win in the prestigious Vinoo Mankad Trophy.
Displaying maturity well beyond his years, the young wicketkeeper-batsman remained unbeaten on 82 runs off 93 balls, guiding his team home in a tricky chase of 236 runs. His calm and composed innings under pressure earned him accolades from across the domestic circuit, marking another memorable moment for the Dravid family in Indian cricket.
Karnataka, who were jolted early at 41 for 2, found themselves in deep trouble when the third wicket fell at 44, but the 18-year-old captain showed composure under pressure, stabilizing the innings with a brilliant 144-run partnership for the fourth wicket with Siddharth Akhil, who scored an impressive 75 off 79 balls.
