AP: Govt. announces Rs 10 lakh ex gratia to six fishermen families

Visakhapatnam, July 8 (UNI) The Andhra Pradesh Government has announced Rs 10 lakh ex gratia to the families of six fishermen who went missing in the sea.
Minister for Excise Kollu Ravindra, MLA Vamshi Krishna, L Madhavi and district Collector Abhisikt Kishore handed over the ex gratia cheques to the family members here on Wednesday.
The Minister met the fishermen families in the mechanized boats association building today, handed over the cheques and assured them of extending all required help.

Telangana CEO directs officials to expedite electoral roll revision

Hyderabad, July 21 (UNI): Telangana Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) C. Sudharsan Reddy on Tuesday directed district election officials to expedite the Special Intensive Revision (SIR)-2026 of electoral rolls and ensure that over 90 per cent of the enumeration process is completed by the end of this week.
