Patna, Sep 10 (UNI) Amid active political activities, former Jharkhand Chief Minister and senior BJP leader Arjun Munda today called on Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar at his residence in Patna.
Munda visited Kumar this morning at the Sankalp, Aney Marg, where the two leaders held a closed-door meeting for nearly half an hour. They reportedly discussed preparations for the upcoming Bihar Assembly elections and the National Democratic Alliance's (NDA) poll strategy.
Speaking to reporters after the meeting, Munda said his discussions with Chief Minister Nitish Kumar centered on political and electoral matters. He added that, on the instructions of his party, he would actively campaign for the NDA in Bihar.
Expressing confidence about the NDA's victory, Munda stated that he was fully confident the alliance would once again form the government in Bihar after the elections.
Responding to a question about Kumar’s health, the BJP leader remarked, “I just met him; he is absolutely fit.”
