Armed burglar disables CCTV, loots Rs 60,000 from Bengaluru Pub

Bengaluru, May 12 (UNI) In a heist resembling a planned operation, an armed intruder disabled the CCTV cameras and power supply before breaking into a high-end pub in North Bengaluru and decamping with Rs 60,000 in cash, police said on Monday.
The incident occurred in the early hours at Geometry Brewery and Kitchen. The accused allegedly entered the premises from the rear after breaking open a door. He then made his way to the third-floor office and stole the cash from a drawer, North Division DCP Saidulu Adavath told reporters.
A security guard on duty raised the alarm by calling the police emergency helpline, stating that the suspect had brandished what appeared to be a small pistol. The accused reportedly fled after locking the entrance from inside.
