Arms recovered, militants nabbed in Manipur

Imphal, May 10 (UNI) Security forces recovered a cache of arms, ammunition and explosives during search operations conducted in different parts of Imphal West district over the last two days.
Local Police said on Sunday that security personnel on May 9 recovered two single barrel guns, two .32 pistols, two No. 36 HE grenades and 99 rounds of ammunition of different calibres from Ingel Hill at Tendongyang under Sekmai Police Station in Imphal West district.
In another operation carried out today at the Langol hill range under Lamphel Police Station in Imphal West district, security forces recovered one INSAS rifle along with two magazines, one .303 rifle with a magazine, one single bore barrel, four bolt action rifles and 10 pistols each with a magazine.
