Arunachal: ‘Abducted’ minor girl rescued promptly

Itanagar, Apr 22 (UNI) A minor girl from the Puroik community in East Kameng district of Arunachal Pradesh, who was allegedly abducted by a woman from another community, has been rescued within 48 hours of “abduction” - thanks to a prompt response by the district administration.
As per reports one mother along with her elder child came crying to the East Kameng DC office at Seppa on Monday where a meeting for the preparation of the repoll in the Sario polling booth under Bameng Assembly Constituency was going on.
Deputy Commissioner Sachin Rana gave a patient hearing to the 'hapless' woman’s account vis-à-vis abduction of her 9-year-old daughter, official sources said.
