Arunachal’s Namsai sets benchmark under Aspirational District program

Itanagar, Aug 2 (UNI) Arunachal Pradesh’s Namsai district has emerged as a beacon of progress under the Aspirational District Programme, making an exceptional leap from the 97th to the 12th position among 112 districts in India.
The state’s lone Aspirational district’s achievement was lauded by Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein during the ‘Sampoornata Abhiyaan Samman Samaroh’ held at the Dorjee Khandu State Convention Centre, here today.
The event, jointly organised by the Planning & Investment Department, Government of Arunachal Pradesh, and NITI Aayog, celebrated the milestones achieved under the Aspirational District and Aspirational Block Programmes.

Bengal: Elephant kills youth, protest in Bankura
