Arunachal’s Tage Rita selected for prestigious Vital Voices Global Fellowship 2025

Itanagar, June 18 (UNI) In a remarkable recognition of innovation and leadership, Tage Rita Takhe, founder of Naara Aaba, India’s first kiwi wine label, has been selected for the Vital Voices Global Fellowship 2025.
She is among 51 changemakers chosen from 39 countries worldwide for the prestigious leadership programme that empowers women driving global change.
Rooted in the lush highlands of Ziro and hailing from Hong village, Rita has long championed sustainable enterprise through her unique kiwi wine venture.

Meghalaya names squad for Senior Women's One Day Trophy 2025-26

Shillong, Jan 21 (UNI): A 15-member squad was named on Wednesday by the Meghalaya Cricket Association's senior women's selection committee for the BCCI's Senior Women One Day Trophy 2025-26 plate group, which will be held in Febuary.
The team will be captained by stalwart Debasmita Dutta, with Monica Lyngdoh Phawa as the vice-captain.
