Australian football chief executive James Johnson resigns

Sydney, May 8 (UNI) Football Australia (FA) on Thursday announced that James Johnson has resigned as chief executive officer after more than five years in the role.
In a statement, Johnson said that it has been a "privilege" to lead the governing body.
"As someone who is immensely passionate about Australian football, this decision has not come easy, but I believe the time is right to step down," he said.

Shillong, Nov 13 (UNI) Shillong Lajong maintained their dominance over rivals Rangdajied United by winning the final of the inaugural SSA Super Cup 2025 3-1 at the SSA Stadium at First Ground, Polo, here on Thursday evening.
It was far from an easy contest as the local giants thrilled the thousands of spectators who packed into the stadium with a highly competitive match. To win, SLFC had to overturn a one goal deficit when Denelson Pyngrope (25') gave Rangdajied the lead.
