Australian tennis great Mal Anderson dies

Sydney, May 11 (UNI) Australian tennis great Mal Anderson, the first unseeded player to win the US Championships - now the US Open - has died at 91, Tennis Australia said Monday.
Anderson was part of Australia's golden postwar era, winning the US Championships singles title in 1957 and three major doubles titles.
He also helped Australia win the Davis Cup in 1957 and 1973.

Serena Williams' Queen's campaign in doubt after Mboko injury

London, June 10 (UNI) Serena Williams' doubles campaign at Queen's is in jeopardy after her partner Victoria Mboko suffered a knee injury in her singles match against Karolina Pliskova.
The 23-time Grand Slam champion, 44, made her return to tennis on Tuesday after almost four years away from the sport, playing doubles alongside Mboko.
The pair knocked out the third seeds, but there is now uncertainty around their quarter-final match on Thursday after Mboko suffered a nasty fall, according to BBC Sport.
