Babulal Marandi accuses Hemant Govt of displacement, tribal exploitation

Ranchi, Sep 7 (UNI) Jharkhand BJP president and Leader of Opposition in the state Assembly Babulal Marandi today launched a scathing attack on the Hemant Soren government, accusing it of displacing natives while sheltering Bangladeshi infiltrators and Rohingyas.
Marandi met families rendered homeless during the anti-encroachment drive near Birsa Chowk, alleging that poor Jharkhandis with huts and homes of over 50 years were uprooted without rehabilitation.
He said hundreds, including elderly and children, were left under the open sky during the monsoon, terming the action insensitive governance. He warned that if rehabilitation was not ensured, the affected families would be forced to move to the Chief Minister’s residence.
