Bangladesh detective team to fly to Kolkata to probe Awami League MP's grisly murder

Dhaka, May 25 (UNI) A three-member team of detectives of Bangladesh Police is to leave for Kolkata, India, on Sunday to investigate the murder of Awami League parliamentarian Anwarul Azim Anar, the police said. Several influential businessmen are believed to be involved in Anar's killing, investigators said.
Meanwhile, a four-member team of West Bengal CID is in Dhaka to investigate the murder of the MP, said Harun Or Rashid, chief of detective branch of Dhaka Metropolitan Police.
He added that, so far, no specific motive for the killing has been identified.
