Bangladesh police stop NCP from holding march towards Indian High Commission

Dhaka, Jan 7 (UNI) Bangladesh Police stopped a march by the National Citizens Party (NCP) towards the Indian High Commission in Dhaka, to protest against an alleged incidence of border killing 15 years ago.
Police stopped the 'Anti-Hegemony March' by the student-led NCP party toward the Indian High Commission, demanding justice for the alleged killing of a teenager at the border.
The NCP’s Dhaka Metropolitan North branch had called for the programme on Wednesday, to mark the 15th anniversary of the Bangladeshi teenager Felani’s killing in alleged firing by the Border Security Force (BSF) of India.
