Bangladesh’s Chief Advisor Muhammad Yunus mulling resignation over rising protests

Dhaka, May 23 (UNI) The Chief Advisor of Bangladesh's Interim Government, Muhammad Yunus, is considering quitting from his position, reported Bangladeshi media.
National Citizen Party Convener Nahid Islam, talking to BBC Bangla, said the chief advisor was weighing resignation.
The Daily Star reported that Yunus expressed his desire to resign at an advisory council meeting in his office on Thursday and also shared his worries over rising questions about his government’s performance and duties.
