Belagavi tension continues after ‘I Love Muhammad’ slogans

Belagavi, Oct 4 (UNI) Tension continued here today following a stone-pelting incident linked to the raising of 'I Love Muhammad' slogans during yesterday's Urs procession.
Police detained 11 people and tightened security in the city ahead of Chief Minister Siddaramaiah’s scheduled visit.
According to police, the slogans triggered objections, after which the mob resorted to stone pelting near Khadak Galli. Police confirmed they have video evidence showing youths chanting the slogans and engaging in violence.

Lightning strike kills four students, injures three in Kerala’s Malappuram

Kozhikode, May 12 (UNI) Four students died after being struck by lightning, while three others were injured, at Mankada in Kerala’s Malappuram district.
The deceased have been identified as Rahees (20), Vahas (18), Siad (18) and Fahad (19), all natives of Vellila.
Three others were injured and are currently undergoing treatment at the Manjeri Medical College Hospital.

Four students killed by lightning in Malappuram, one dead due to landslide in Punalur
