BJP demands probe into attacks on Hindu temples in Telangana

Hyderabad, Jan 15 (UNI) Telangana BJP president N Ramchander Rao on Thursday alleged that attacks on Hindu temples have increased in the State after the Congress came to power, and demanded a thorough probe into the recent incidents of desecration.
Rao, who visited the Puranapul temple this morning, condemned the latest incident and said it occurred just three days after an attack on the Katta Maisamma temple in Safilguda, Malkajgiri.
He termed the repeated incidents “highly condemnable” and said they were not isolated cases but part of a disturbing pattern of temple desecrations in Telangana.
