BJP is running ‘jackboot policy’ in J&K: alleges Tariq Karra

Srinagar, Oct 2 (UNI) Jammu & Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee President Tariq Karra on Wednesday alleged that the BJP is running “jackboot policy” in JK.
The J&K Congress President made these remarks during an interaction with the media on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti celebration in Srinagar.
“BJP is glorifying the peaceful atmosphere of Kashmir. This is nothing sort of glorifying the situation, it has fear among the people”, Karra said.

Srinagar, Oct 8 (UNI) A Territorial Army (TA) soldier, part of an intelligence-gathering unit, has gone missing in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district, official sources said.
The TA soldier, whose identity has not been disclosed, went missing on Tuesday afternoon in the Utroosu area of Anantnag district.
