BJP's Delhi win rejection of negative politics: Joshi

Hubballi, Feb 8 (UNI) Union Minister for Food, Civil Supplies and Renewable Energy Prahlad Joshi on Saturday said that by electing the BJP with a huge majority in the Assembly elections, the electorate of Delhi had completely rejected those with a negative mindset and divisive politics.
Speaking to newspersons here, Joshi said those who came to the forefront of politics through Anna Hazare’s anti-corruption movement had themselves turned "corrupt". The people of Delhi sought an alternative and gave an opportunity to the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) led by Arvind Kejriwal. However, he and his party have failed to fulfil their promises, including providing adequate water and electricity, he stated.
Joshi alleged that instead of delivering good governance and honouring their commitments, Kejriwal and his party indulged in blaming the Centre for all issues and engaged in negative politics with an "Urban Naxal" mindset. The people of Delhi have now rejected them and placed their trust in the BJP under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, he asserted.
