BJP's minority cell leader found hanging from ceiling in his Goghat village home

Kolkata, June 21 (UNI) Tension ran high at Goghat in West Bengal's Hooghly district after BJP's minority cell leader SK Bakibur was found hanging from ceiling with his hands tied with a rope at his village home on Saturday.
Bakibur, 35, was the Mondal president of BJP's minority cell in the Gogaht area and was very active in the area. His body was found early this morning at his San Badhi village home.
The victim's family members, including his aged father, claimed it was a pre-planned murder.

SJTA orders inquiry into security lapse at Sri Jagannath Temple

Advocates’ Association calls for court boycott, white ribbon protest

Ranchi, July 9 (UNI) The Advocates’ Association of Jharkhand High Court has announced a one-day abstention from judicial work on July 10 (Thursday), followed by a symbolic white ribbon protest starting July 11(Friday). The decisions were unanimously adopted during a General Body Meeting held today at the High Court premises.

Tripura develops 25,000 hectares of organic land

Agartala, July 9 (UNI) The Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Department of Tripura has developed more than 25,000 hectares of certified organic land and exported 1,332 MT of organic products—including scented rice, bird’s eye chilli, ginger, turmeric, and pineapple—to other states and foreign countries in the last three years.
