BJP slams Telangana Congress over local body poll delay, political theatrics over BC quota

Hyderabad, Aug 4 (UNI) BJP Telangana state general secretary Dr. Kasam Venkateswarlu today accused the Congress government of plunging rural governance into crisis by delaying local body elections.
He claimed the inaction has led to the loss of Rs 2,300 crore in Central Finance Commission funds, blaming Chief Minister Revanth Reddy for administrative paralysis and political theatrics over BC reservations.
Addressing the media at the state party office in Nampally, Venkateswarlu said the state government has failed to comply with the High Court’s directive to complete the reservation process by July 25 and hold local body elections by September 30.
