Bollywood celebrities urges strength and safety for Delhi

New Delhi, Nov 11 (UNI) Following a high-intensity blast near the Red Fort in Delhi, which claimed at least eight lives, members of the film fraternity have expressed their condolences to the victims and their families.
Actor Raveena Tandon took to her X handle, describing the incident as "horrible news" and wrote, "Condolences to all those bereaved families who lost their loved ones in the Delhi blast. Horrible news."
Sonu Sood also reacted, sharing his grief for those affected. He posted on X, "My heart reaches out to everyone impacted by today's tragic blast near the Red Fort in Delhi. Let's support the victims, look out for each other, and commit to peace."
The official social media account of TVK Vijay expressed condolences to the families of the deceased. Their post read, "Deeply shocked and saddened by the news of the car explosion near Red Fort Metro, Delhi, that has claimed precious lives. My heartfelt condolences to the families who lost their loved ones. Wishing speedy recovery to all those injured."
Sidharth Malhotra showed his support on Instagram, writing, "My heart goes out to everyone affected by the Red Fort blast. Delhi, stay strong and stay safe."
Rajkummar Rao shared that he was heartbroken upon hearing the news.
Meanwhile, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni posted on Instagram, "My prayers for those who have lost their lives and their families and for those who are injured. Saddened at the Red Fort blast. May the culprits be found and punished severely. Prayers and more prayers."
Security concerns in Delhi have intensified following the explosion, which occurred on Monday evening around 7 pm. The blast took place in a vehicle near a traffic signal between Gates 1 and 4 of the Red Fort Metro Station, leaving at least eight people dead and several others injured.
