Botafogo likely to sign Nacional Winger Lucas Villalba

Rio de Janeiro, Dec 11 (UNI) Botafogo are in talks to sign forward Lucas Villalba from Uruguay’s Nacional, the Brazilian Serie A club confirmed.
Villalba, who is contracted to Nacional until July 2028, has agreed to personal terms and will undergo a medical in Rio de Janeiro in the coming days, Botafogo sporting director Alessandro Brito said.
"We are in negotiations," news outlet O Globo quoted Brito as saying. "It isn't a done deal yet, but he is a target of ours. He is a winger who plays on the right and is the type of player who can give us what we lacked this year, which is the ability to be direct and attack space."
