Brigadier Babu meets T’gana CM, discusses welfare measures for ex-servicemen

Hyderabad, May 13 (UNI) Director of Sainik Welfare Department, Brigadier N R Babu, met Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on Wednesday and discussed various issues related to the welfare of ex-servicemen in the state.
During the meeting, Brig. Babu proposed the establishment of a Telangana Ex-Servicemen Corporation. Responding positively, the Chief Minister directed officials of the Chief Minister’s Office to prepare the necessary framework and procedures for setting up the Corporation. He also instructed officials to study the functioning and operational models of similar corporations in other states before holding further discussions on the proposal.
Brig. Babu also requested the early convening of the Rajya Sainik Board meeting, chaired by the Chief Minister. Revanth Reddy assured that the feasibility of conducting the meeting at the earliest would be examined.

Hyderabad, June 18 (UNI) The Telangana government has decided to release Rythu Bharosa investment support funds to farmers for the upcoming Vanakalam (kharif) season from June 30, Irrigation and Civil Supplies Minister Capt. N. Uttam Kumar Reddy announced on Thursday after an informal Cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Revanth Reddy at the Secretariat.
