BRS delegation heads to Chennai for southern states conference on delimitation

Hyderabad, Mar 21 (UNI) A Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) delegation, led by Working President K T Rama Rao (KTR), has departed for Chennai to attend the Southern States Conference on Delimitation scheduled for tomorrow.
At the conference, KTR will highlight the flaws in the current delimitation policy, emphasising its negative impact on southern states and proposing corrective measures. He has warned that the policy weakens the representation of these states, which play a vital role in India’s economic growth.
Under KTR’s leadership, senior BRS leaders will present the party’s long-standing opposition to the policy. KTR reaffirmed the BRS’s commitment to fighting for the rights of southern states, urging unity among regional leaders to challenge the delimitation policy and protect the interests of their people, a party statement said on Friday.
