BRTF organises Diwali mela in Anantnag

Srinagar, Oct 18 (UNI) In a vibrant pre-Diwali celebration, the 760 Border Roads Task Force (BRTF) of Project Beacon organised a colourful Diwali Mela at its Verinag campus in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district.
A large number of locals joined the celebrations, which featured stalls displaying household items, fun games, and recreational activities for children. Cultural performances showcasing traditional and modern art forms added festive cheer to the event.
Speaking on the occasion, Commander 760 BRTF, Ilan Kumar, extended greetings to all on the eve of Diwali and described the festival as “a symbol of light over darkness and the victory of truth over falsehood.”
