BWF Super 300 Macau Open 2025: Laksha, Tharun Mannepalli reach SF's

Macao, Aug 1(UNI) India’s Lakshya Sen and Tharun Mannepalli entered the semi-finals of the men’s singles event, while doubles duo of Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty bowed out after loosing their quarter final bout at the Macau Open 2025 badminton tournament today.
While Lakshya Sen defeated China's Zhu Xuan Chen 21-14, 18-21, 21-14, Tharun Mannepalli also progressed with a 21-12, 13-21, 21-18 win over Hu Zhe An(China), the reigning junior world champion.
23-year-old Mannepalli has had a good run at the BWF Super 300 Macau Open 2025 so far, as he had also pulled off a big upset in the previous round downing top seed Lee Cheuk Yiu of Hong Kong.

New coach Pierre de Bruyn to lead Netherlands after Women’s T20 World Cup
