Cargo plane crashes in U.S. state of Kentucky

New York, Nov. 5 (UNI) A cargo plane crashed near Louisville International Airport in the U.S. state of Kentucky on Tuesday, local media quoted the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
The UPS cargo plane bound for Honolulu crashed around 5:15 p.m. local time, shortly after taking off from the airport, the FAA said.
Louisville Metro Police Department (LMPD) and other agencies are responding to the plane crash, LMPD said in an X post.

Dhaka/New Delhi, Nov 17 (UNI) Bangladesh’s former prime minister Sheikh Hasina was on Monday sentenced to death by the country’s war crimes tribunal over a crackdown on anti-government protesters last year, terming it as "crimes against humanity". Hasina, who lives in India in self-exile, has trashed the tribunal as “rigged” and rejected the allegations.

Dhaka, Nov 17 (UNI) Hours after the ruling of its special court system, the ICT (International Crimes Tribunal), condemning former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina to the gallows, the country's Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) on Monday said it will formally send a letter to the Indian Government seeking the repatriation of both Hasina and former Home Affairs Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal.
