CBI arrests three in connection with digital arrest fraud under Operation Chakra V

New Delhi, Oct14 (UNI) The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has arrested three persons in connection with the investigation into the Digital Arrest fraud, under the ongoing Operation Chakra, an official said today.
One of the accused was apprehended in Kerala, while the other two were taken into custody in Gujarat, the CBI official said.
The arrests followed the recovery of crucial digital and documentary evidence confirming their active involvement in the conspiracy. Investigations revealed that the accused had directly facilitated the perpetrators, including providing financial support, from both domestic and international locations.
