Central funds available, but Himachal govt failing to use them effectively: Nadda

Shimla, June 13 (UNI) union Health Minister and senior BJP leader Jagat Prakash Nadda today launched a sharp attack on the Congress government in Himachal Pradesh, alleging that administrative failures, poor financial management and an inability to effectively utilize Central funds had pushed the state into a governance crisis.
Addressing a press conference here, Nadda claimed that despite receiving financial assistance worth thousands of crores of rupees from the Centre for infrastructure, healthcare, education and post-disaster reconstruction, the state government had failed to utilize the funds efficiently, resulting in the lapse of several schemes and a slowdown in development activities.
Describing the Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu-led Congress government as "directionless and indecisive", Nadda alleged that Himachal Pradesh was witnessing a state of "no governance".
