Central University’s Ambedkar Centre Produces Four TGT (Arts) Selects

Dharamshala, June 10 (UNI) In a significant achievement for the Dr. Ambedkar Centre of Excellence (ACE) at the Central University of Himachal Pradesh, four of its students have been selected for the post of Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT-Arts) by the State Selection Commission.
The successful candidates are Shalini, Ashok Kumar and Mahendra Kumar from the 2025–26 batch, and Bhim Singh from the 2022–23 batch. All four candidates belong to economically weaker families from remote and backward areas of Himachal Pradesh.
Shalini, daughter of Dina Ram, hails from Jhir village in Mandi district. Her father works as a private electrician in Kumara hydroelectric project. Ashok , son of Kesharu, belongs to the remote village of Shedyalu in Churah subdivision of Chamba district, while Mahendra Kumar, son of Narayan Singh, is from Mandka village in the same area. Both come from farming families. Bhim Singh, son of Lachho, is a resident of Chahtraru village in Churah and was a student of the Centre’s first batch.
