Centre, state sync up to push Mizoram’s development roadmap

Aizawl, Apr 23 (UNI) In a strategic push to fast-track Mizoram’s development agenda, Chief Minister Lalduhoma and Union DoNER Minister Jyotiraditya M. Scindia held a high-level review meeting via video conference on Wednesday to assess the state’s progress under key Central schemes.
The State Action Plan Review Meeting, convened by the Ministry of DoNER, focused on the implementation status of flagship development programmes and infrastructure initiatives being rolled out across Mizoram. Issues flagged in earlier reviews were revisited, while updated action-taken reports were examined.
Scindia took stock of ongoing projects under schemes such as NESIDS (Road), NESIDS-OTRI, PM-DevINE, and NEC, and indicated that future proposals will be prioritised in light of discussions held during the review.
