Chattisgarh: Petrol crosses Rs 103 in Raipur, diesel also sees sharp rise

Raipur, May 15 (UNI) A sharp increase in fuel prices has started reflecting in Chhattisgarh, as petrol prices in Raipur have now crossed the ₹103 per litre mark.
The latest hike of nearly ₹3 per litre has also pushed diesel prices up significantly, taking it close to ₹96.55 per litre in the state capital.
Petrol, which was earlier priced at ₹100.45 per litre, has now moved beyond ₹103. Diesel has risen from ₹93.39 to around ₹96.55 per litre. The sudden increase led to long queues at several petrol pumps across the city today morning, as people rushed to fill fuel. Many residents have expressed concern over the rising cost, saying it would directly affect their daily expenses. For several families, the increase adds to an already rising cost of living.
