Chhattisgarh cabinet okays key decisions on Renewable energy, wildlife conservation

Raipur, June 18 (UNI) In a significant move, the Cabinet meeting chaired by Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai on Wednesday took several important decisions promoting Scheduled Tribes and Scheduled Castes, renewable energy, and wildlife conservation, including tiger protection and eco-tourism.

The Cabinet approved providing state scholarships and stipends to students from the Dihari Korwa, Baghel Kshatri, Sansari Oraon, Pabiya/Pawiya/Pawiya Samaj, and Domra castes, treating them at par with Scheduled Tribes and Scheduled Castes, respectively. These students will also be eligible for admission to hostels and ashrams.
