CISF Operational Conference on Aviation Security begins at CIAL

Kochi, Sep 11 (UNI) The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) Operational Conference for South India began at Cochin International Airport (CIAL) today to review and strengthen aviation security in the face of emerging global challenges.
The two-day meet, themed “Aviation Security in a Changing Era”, was inaugurated by Praveer Ranjan, Special Director General (APS), in the presence of Jose Mohan, Inspector General, CISF.
Chief Airport Security Officers (CASOs) and senior DIGs from major airports across South India are attending the deliberations, which focus on operational preparedness, contingency planning, inter-agency coordination and passenger convenience.

Oil firms urge public in Karnataka to avoid panic buying
