Civic Polls: BJP candidate injured in late-night clash in Nagpur

Nagpur, Jan 15 (UNI) A Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate was injured in a violent late-night clash in Nagpur on Wednesday, just hours before municipal elections, prompting police to launch an investigation as authorities scrambled to maintain peace ahead of polling.
The injured candidate has been identified as Bhushan Shingne, the BJP nominee from Ward No. 11 of the Nagpur Municipal Corporation.
The incident reportedly took place around midnight in the Gorewada area.
