Class 11 student killed, friend critically injured after bus runs them over in Lucknow

Lucknow, Nov 7 (UNI) A class 11 student was killed and his friend critically injured after a bus ran them over while reversing in the Ashiyana area of Lucknow on Friday morning.
The incident occurred around 7:15 am when Vaibhav, a student of Stella Maris Inter College, was returning home with his friend Shashwat after dropping his sister at school. Just a short distance from his home, a bus driver reversing the vehicle reportedly failed to notice the two boys on a Bullet motorcycle and ran them over.
Locals rushed to the spot and found that Vaibhav had died on the scene, while Shashwat was lying severely injured on the road. Passersby managed to stop the fleeing bus driver after an auto driver chased and caught him. Vaibhav’s body was sent to Lok Bandhu Hospital.
