Closure of airspace in Middle East disrupts flight operations

Thiruvananthapuram, June 23 (UNI) Due to the closure of airspace in the Middle East in the wake of the Israel-Iran conflict, flight operations from Thiruvananthapuram International Airport have been impacted.
"Passengers are requested to check with their respective airlines on the status of their flights before arriving at the airport. We appreciate your cooperation," a release said.
Thiruvananthapuram-Bahrain Gulf Air flight is returning back to TRV due to the closure of the Qatar airspace.

(EAM) Dr. S. Jaishankar to engage all diplomatic channels to secure their release and
their fishing vessels apprehended by the Sri Lankan authorities
In a Demi-official letter to EAM, he drew his attention to yet another distressing incident
of apprehension of seven Indian fishermen by the Sri Lankan Navy.
