CM Fadnavis interacts with saints and mahants at his Varsha residence

Mumbai, June 13 ( UNI) Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis met saints and mahants and discussed with them the 350th Shaheed Samagam of Shri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Ji and the 350th Guru Ta Gaddi Samagam programme of Guru Gobind Singh ji at three places in the state.
The Samagam is planned in Nanded, Nagpur and Navi Mumbai.
The Chief Minister said that Guru Tegh Bahadur ji dedicated himself to the society when it was being exploited during the period of conflict. He fought to eliminate the injustices being done during the tyrannical rule of Aurangzeb. "It is important for the next generation to remember this part of history that he was martyred for the greater good of society," he said.
