CM Revanth reviews Medaram Jatara security, AI drones and 450 CCTV cameras to monitor crowds

Hyderabad, Jan 18 (UNI) Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy on Sunday reviewed security and festival arrangements for the Medaram Sammakka–Saralamma Jatara at the Command Control Center in Medaram, Mulugu district, along with Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka, ministers and DGP B Shivadhar Reddy.
The Jatara, to be held from January 28 to 31, is expected to draw lakhs of devotees. Officials said over 13,000 police personnel have been deployed and more than 450 CCTV cameras, linked to the Telangana Integrated Command and Control Center in Hyderabad, will provide 24/7 surveillance.
The Chief Minister was briefed on the AI-based TG-Quest drone policing system, PTZ cameras on helium balloons for crowd control, facial recognition to track habitual offenders, and special crime teams and bike patrols. Traffic arrangements have been divided into 20 sectors, while 3,800 RTC buses and 37 parking areas across nearly 2,000 acres have been readied.
