CM Yogi stresses on time-bound approval system for investors in IT and ITES sectors

Lucknow, Nov 15 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath stressed the need for a simple, transparent, and time-bound approval system for investors in the IT and ITES sectors.
During a review meeting of the Information Technology and Electronics Department here on Saturday, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said, “The state’s startup ecosystem is expanding rapidly and must be further strengthened by ensuring comprehensive support for training, testing, and market linkages.”
He emphasized that integrating youth into a technology-driven economy is a key government priority. To increase youth engagement in the IT and ITES sectors, he called for the development of innovative training models and enhanced collaboration with organizations such as Eion Reality.

Over 4 5 lakh absent/deceased voters delistested in Uttarakhand in pre-SIR exercise

Dehradun, May 15 (UNI) More than 4.5 lakh voters in Uttarakhand have been delisted from the Electoral rolls as they were found unavailable at their places during the pre-SIR exercise process by the Election Commission of India(ECI).
As the SIR will begin on May 29 these names were removed as they fell in the ASD (Absentee, Shifted, and Deceased) categories.
In Uttarakhand, the number of voters has dropped by 4,53,459 in the past year.
