Cognizance against 33 including Sanjiv Hans in Money Laundering case in Bihar

Patna, Apr 23 (UNI) A special court in Patna took cognizance against 33 accused including IAS officer Sanjiv Hans, former MLA Gulab Yadav and 10 companies on Wednesday in a money laundering case.
The Special Judge Rupesh Dev, on the basis of the chargesheet filed by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) took cognizance against 33 persons including IAS Sanjeev Hans, former MLA Gulab Yadav, Shadab Khan, Bipul Bansal, Praveen Kumar, Uttam Kumar Daga, Gayatri Kumari, Pradeep Kumar Singh, Kamalkant Gupta, Rajiv Burman, Pawan Chandak and 10 companies including M/s Femina Star Management Limited.
As it is ED is investigating the money laundering case of over crores of rupees lodged against Hans.

Guwahati, May 22 (UNI) One person was arrested in Assam's Golaghat district on Thursday for his alleged involvement in killing a Royal Bengal Tiger,
The arrest took place following recovery of a carcass of an adult tiger from an area under Khumtai revenue circle during the day. Some parts of the tiger's body like the teeth, tail and claws were missing.
