Collective efforts ensure peaceful Ganesh immersion in Cyberabad: CP

Hyderabad, Sep 7 (UNI) The Ganesh immersion celebrations in Cyberabad concluded peacefully this year, with meticulous arrangements and coordinated efforts by the Cyberabad Police and various government departments.
The 10-day festival, held from August 27 to September 6, was marked by smooth conduct of processions and immersions across the commissionerate limits.
Cyberabad Commissioner of Police Avinash Mohanty said the success was the result of inter-departmental coordination and round-the-clock monitoring. Senior officers supervised ground-level bandobust arrangements and tracked processions in real time from the Public Safety Integrated Operations Centre (PSIOC) at Gachibowli.

Chennai, June 16 (UNI) In a tragic incident, an elderly couple ended their life after allegedly consuming poison on Sunday night at Sirkazhi in Mayiladuthurai district of Tamil Nadu.
Police identified the deceased couple as Kamaraj (65), a farmer from Puttur Vaniya Street near Kollidam, and his wife Valli (59).
