Cong announces five guarantees ahead of Maha polls

Mumbai, Nov 6 (UNI) The Congress party on Wednesday announced five guarantees in Maharashtra as a part of its manifesto for the upcoming elections.
I In the run-up to the Vidhan Sabha polls in Maharashtra, the Congress-led Maha Vikas Aghadi today assured five guarantees, which include a caste census, the removal of the 50 percent cap on reservations, Rs 3,000 per month in help to women, and free travel in government buses, besides a loan waiver up to Rs 3 lakh for farmers.
The guarantees were launched at a Maha Vikas Aghadi rally at the Bandra-Kurla Complex in Mumbai.
